I’m afraid it’s the society we live in now, all the ambulance chasers and lawyers. Its something that the insurance companies have made for them selves and expect us to pay for!! chris |

| I did make enquiries some time ago about the "Qualified instructors" When I asked who qualifies the instructor, they did not know. I also explained that as my income is based on archery, namely teaching, & the fact I am a coach who is in the position of running a leaders/instructors course made no difference. I offered to provide a copy of my certificates, but no, they wanted the originals. With the postal service (?) we have I told them to forget it. If you want to shoot, go ahead & do it. Just make sure your gear is covered

| Never had this problem, and I've taken out travel insurance with several companies (with additional payments to protect my gear). I've asked whether their policies cover archery, and they all said "yes" without hesitation. Which company? |

| I had an Thought the best people to help with this would be the NFAS, as, surely, they'd come across this sort of thing before. And they did far more than help! A little work from two of the committee members and the problem is solved! ![]() It seems that, because both ourselves and our "hosts" are members of the NFAS, the use of their on-site facilities is classed as "practicing/shooting abroad within NFAS regulations", and as such we're already covered for liability by our existing NFAS insurance! RESULT!!!!!! Thankyou most kindly gentlemen, you're stars! (however, I can safely say that I will not be "referred to with joy" for any aspects of the holiday insurance - or for any other insurance for that matter!!!!! That's one company that will not be getting my business, staff discount or not!!! )
