Which aspect of form ....... Over the first few months/years different aspects of form are worked on as and when the need arises. Which aspect(s) have taken most time or effort? What made those aspects so time-consuming? This is not a poll, as that would restrict people's choice, but hopefully something interesting will come from the posts.

Physical aspect of form - bow shoulder alignment. This has taken me nearly nine years to understand and apply. Mental aspect - just shooting the arrow without hesitation, while relying on technique to get it to where you want to go. I understand this completely, but putting it into practice isn't so easy. Clicker drill is working wonders, however.

Murray, it's funny how many people say the indoors does their head in. They don't seem to know why either. I will PM my thoughts to you on that. Thanks forthe input.

JohnK, thanks for the input. I know what you mean about the confident execution and the bow shoulder. Were you left to your own devices to sort it out? What actually brought about the correct alignment, I'm intrigued?

| It never gets that cold here, so why not shoot outdoors in the "winter"?

There's always the weekend in the winter to shoot in the day. That or skive off work!

Tuning the grey matter is the most time consuming (and toughest) part of shooting IMO. So much of this game is about self-confidence and belief. Murray, your comments about indoors are interesting. I my experience people either love it, or hate it, with no middle gound. I think this is a belief/attitude issue too. Indoors, with no wind, rain or sun to cause problems, there are no excuses, so we put ourselves under more pressure to perform. With the margin between success and failure indoors being so small, it's really the ultimate test of nerve and accuracy (and hence an even bigger source of pressure). Adam
