Archery stays in Olympics

Great for archery, but OH NO for baseball and softball. I know a lot of people in Baseball Softball UK will be very sad. They've been working very hard to increase the sport's popularity in the UK and form a national team.</p>

Maybe we should recruit them to archery!!</p>

Thats a good move, baseball is hardly an international sport. Who plays it? USA &amp; Japan?

Baseball's a great sport (never seen any softball, tho but). Many's the time I've stayed up till 4AM watching live baseball on Channel 5. Cha'mon you Diamondbacks!Trouble is the top players never attend the Olympics, and the BBC never broadcasts any Olympic baseball. You can pretty much blame the USA's baseball authorities for both these factors.</p>

I think it's boring to watch pro athletes in the Olympics anyway. I'd much rather see very talented amateurs really shining in their chosen fields.</p>

I'm glad to hear archery is stayin in the olympics as i intend to get in the england team and shoot there one day!!</p>

They should put me on the IOC, I'd vote to combine Archery with Syncronised Swimming (Evil Grin)
