If I shoot a FITA Gents (3 doz @ 90m and 3 doz @ 70m) the the Bowman classification requires a score of 1065. If, on the other hand, I shoot a GNAS Gents Long Metric (3 doz @ 90m and 3 doz @ 70m) then Bowman classification only requires a score of 490!

This doesn't seem to make sense! Am I missing something here?
Yes, 490 seems reasonable as the first half of a gents FITA (you haven't forgotten that there are another 3-doz at 50m and 3 doz at 30m for the FITA have you?)

I think he had MrM.

Snarkhunter, if you carry on to the right of the FITA column you will see that there are an extra 3doz at 50m and 30m for the FITA round.

Some years ago I made an Excel that showed the GNAS rounds (Imperial & metric) with the scores for each handicap rating. Background colours showed the classification. It was only for gents compound. Sounds very simular to this.
If anyone wants a gents compound version I could try and look it out.

Red face

Doh!

Yup, I had missed it. It was the change to the 80cm face that threw me - I assumed that they were alternatives, not as-well-as's.

Thanks for the clarification.
