HELP FITA Beginners awards

Got the lovely CD in the post but it was cracked and broken even more when I took it out of the case. Does anybody else have the CD and if so could they send me the info and observation forms for the red feather award please. I am trying not to let three junior archers down.

I have contacted GNAS about this ... but want to try all options to get the info I need.

Can anybody help me ?

Sandra

Wink bootleg discs

perhaps you could send us all a copy, or even better, post it on the web somewhere. That way we could further undermine the latest GNAS money making scheme.
If you want to save some cash, FITA will sell you the badges at 1.5 euros each (compared to the £4 that gnas want)

Lets see how fast the embedded gnas censors who work this site can dispose of this posting

I think FITA will only sell them to affiliated organisations.
But I do agreee the mark up seems excessive ..... I would like to know exactly why ? Also what would have been wrong with putting the details free on the GNAS web site ..... they are free on the FITA web site.

You've all tried the stuff from fita's site at FITA beginner manual I take it, there's probably other stuff on the cd but this should be a start.

The annoying thing is it suggests you customize the manual with your club name and beginner's name then does not let you do it.

No one would wish to censor critical posts!
But, why do you think GNAS has "money-making" schemes? It aint to keep folk in champagne and caviare. The funding that comes in from non-GNAs sources (ie grants) is earmarked for specific archer groups (and this means GB are able to send larger and better teams out, which might raise our profile and lead to more money coming in). The money from subs/tournaments goes to admin generally (plus insurance). Now you may have views on this, but I do not think we are "over-adminstrated". We could make things run more efficiently, but this would require more initial investment. Coaching is spending all its resources on a desperately needed revamp of its field of operations, which will benefit everyone if it comes off. I think this very minor "money making" scheme is not too bad.
(FITA, on the other hand, are pitching the price to be attractive in countries where archery has no real presence. I do not inderstand FITA financial flows)
And another thing. Presuming you are a GNAS member, Ben, who do you think you are undermining? GNAS is not just a bunch of fat bearded people who never leave Lilleshall, trying to devise ways to frustrate you. If you think something is wrong, you can say so (as you can if you think something is right).
So please retract your - or accept

Pardon me, ben, but those of us who work the site are hardly gnas censors. We can, however, be grumpy old farts that ban naughty archers who stick out their tongues!

So there.
