Ooops! I opened real can of worms here.

Furface, I did say 'supposedly'.

For my part, I say long live pints, lbs, miles and acres..... but mainly pints.

Question Silly question

As I always tell my students (undergrads and postgrads) there is no such thing as a stupid question. How else are we going to learn?

As to the metric-imperial, imperial-metric thing it is interesting to note that man always tries to change his situation, he likes to feel unique and seperate from the rest - hence eccentricity - hence paradoxes.

Help my brain hurts - Ahh!
