A question: why do top archers wear bucket hats? What is the advantage of them over other styles?

A lot of archers seem keen on Tilly hats, but even these (IMHO) have brims that are too wide. Marketing opportunity? I use a bucket hat, as it provides good shading for my eyes and also good sun protection for the back of my neck. Also having a dark coloured underside to the brim or peak can reduce glare.

| I found mine at Millets and Uni Qlo. And then I customised them.
