Ive been reading the threads of dress code and can see that its somewhat of a hot topic so wont discuss it further here. I get the idea now though so thanks for the replies!

Ditch the Green

[quote=whisky]That is until you get into the stupid arguement of whether the Dark green trousers/top you have on are really dark enough.

There's an easy fix to this problem. Get rid of green all together. Make the dress code white bottoms and white top or club registered shirt. Club shirts look a lot better with white trousers or skirt than with one of the various shades of green, khaki or olive drab that people wear to tournaments at present. I shot at a FITA star a few weeks ago and one of the winners was dressed in olive coloured trousers and a khaki coloured shirt, so technically he should not have even started the shoot. Another archer was wearing a sleeveless t-shirt and flip-flops; again a breach of the dress rules. Try that at most other sports and you would get thrown out right away.

Before we get bogged down again on the topic of 'what colour is the right green' and 'the GNAS dress code sucks' can I point everyone in the direction of the search button where you'll find plenty of threads discussing this topic - feel free to join any of them.

Ta

More to the point, take action. Write to Mike Shepherd in his capacity as Operations Director at GNAS

Nothing will change, but at least they will know of peoples discontent
