Eastcote is a new(ish) venture into retailing. The business has to start small but with the support of the folk in Scotland, will grow. It HAS to have support to grow. The fact that the shop might only have a limited stock might be because of limited support. It is a dangerous game if a business stocks up expecting support just because they are there. That is one of the quickest ways of going bust. Support Eastcote even if you have to wait a couple of days to get your product as it is just impossible to carry everything that an archer might need. Most of us view Quick's catalogue, but remember, they started from a shed and it took them 40 plus years to get where they are now.

Smile Eastcote House Archery Centre

This is Gwyn from Eastcote House Archery Centre, I believe we are the only Archery retail shop in Scotland. We are currently trying to get permission to move our shop into larger premises on the same site and will then be able to hold more stock. If anyone wants to try something give us a ring before you come to see if we have it or can get it before you arrive. We have just opened our new 20yd indoor heated range.

Thanks Old Bloke,

Here at Eastcote (which is just 3miles East of Hawick in the Scottish Borders) we are trying stock most of the items that archers require (don't forget even people like Quicks don't stock every archery item) but it requires a lot of stock to cover everything. We are getting there we have a good range of recurve bows, some Bowtech compounds, Easton arrows (jazz, plat+ redlines and ACC's) Arrowhead target faces at very good prices and of course lots of the smaller accessories. ~I we don't have something you want then we can usually get it very quickly so give us a ring before you visit.

We have a permanently laid out shooting field which allows shooting up to 100yds and have just opened our new heated indoor range with shooting up to 20yds.

Hopefully very soon we will have a new shop (bigger) still near Hawick but it will mean that we will be able to hold more stock.

Plenty of archers but no shops that are central we had chiltern in fife and the scottish archery centre in drem near north berwick(I am under the impression that they are closing down) and Eastcote in the borders all of whom I have had the pleasure of visiting . But none in Edin or Glasgow or central Scotland so most archers deal over the internet or by Phone. I even remember quicks coming up to montrose with their van but no more
