Angry Poor Quality Foam Bosses

Having just told the Leisure Centre where we shoot, 1 night a week, that the Bosses they bought are shot out after only 8 months they are very very unhappy.

The last set of bosses they got lasted 2 1/2 years and the last lot only lasted 8 months and that is with rotating them eg. Junior shoot a different one every week. That way one boss is not always shot by the Compound/ High Poundage Recurve archers every week.

Just wanted to know if any other Club got very poor quality foam bosses recently and how long did they last?
By the way how long, roughly, do foam bosses last?

We have a couple in the university club, and we work on the theory that they need shuffling, repacking and rebuilding every 2 weeks or so

Hi-di-ho neighbour.
We use the stacked foam boses outdoors only and the straw indoors on both compound and recurve.
Foam last about 2 to 3 years but you do need to restack them every couple of months, and move the smaller faces around them don't always have it centred in the middle.
Our big problem is the 3D targets. a small one like a badger or owl last no time at all, and they are not cheap. Our club just spent some serrious money at the start of the year on new 3 D's, i wonder how long they will last?
