I'd really like to shoot

The flags I can see from my 270º view over the Oxford Business park are barely waving in the breeze. The sun is out; the skies aren't delivering the rain that the weatherperson promised me last night. It's been a stressful day at work, with a few mistakes coming to light and causing headaches for me and others I work with.
I've only shot about six dozen this week. I'll be driving a total of probably 20-24 hours this weekend, and getting very little sleep. I won't get to shoot most of next week because I'll be trying to let my finger heal as much as possible.
Anybody fancy sponsoring me to be a full-time, paid archer?

If I had the money, I would, but in exchange for coaching when you're not shooting.

Shooting this evening and Sunday for definite, and hopefully 3-4 hours tomorrow, so I'll dedicate some of those hours to you, Grant. Just wish I could get anywhere near your scores.

Good luck with the 3 peaks thing this weekend. Drive safely.

Mick

I've been running have a go sessions with Kellog the last week - so random bendy bow shooting. Wednesday night got home and shot a 75 dozen at 100yrd and a 35 end before the heavens opened.

Carbon Copy yesterday, shot the best i've done for months and settled on 17pts short of Bowmen for a New National (I wanted to do a western but didn't have time). The annoying thing? I'd have made it if i'd have remembered to push my sight out at 80yrds, and not had my trademark arrow falling off rest problem. Then I only needed to find 5 or so more points.

Harrumph.

Good luck with the 3 peaks - it's great fun if very hard work!

And I thought I was doing well with 12 dozen in 2.5 hours, you must have been going some Miles to get 75 dozen in before the sun went down!!!!

Glad you cleared that one up Kellog!!

Grant - we will be thinking of you as we take a stroll down the range to collect our arrows, as MM says we will be wishing we were scoring your scores!!

Good luck & have a safe weekend
