64" bow

Hi,

anyone know how long a string needs to be for a 64" bow (EVO2 & G3's)?

I know you can measure, but I can't remember (or find) whether its 3 or 4 less than the tip-to-tip

Thanks!

3" shorter than bow length. Thats with a medium brace height. If it is a low brace height, add 1/2". If a high brace height, 1/2" less.

My current rule of thumb is '4 inches less than the nominal bow length' but it depends which part of the BH range you want to be in and how many twists you are comfortable with. If you want a lower BH with more twists, go for 3.5" or 3". Unfortunately, the only way to see which one works for you is to make it and shoot it.
