Feathers...

Hello,

Ater purchasing my arrows, I now face the real question of how long the feathers should be.

I'm worried that with a bigger feather such as a 4" long one may cause clearance problems.

But last season when I got some secondhand arrows when I first started, I shot very well even though they were fitted with 5" feathers. However at that time I did not understand or even hear of clearance problems.

Now that I'm more aware of these minor things that make a big difference, I would hope to obtain some advice on this matter before purchasing anything.
