BBC Breakfast - Archery item

There was supposedly an item on archery on the BBC Breakfast news on BBC1, in light of tonights Robin Hood. I've hopefully recorded it, but did anybody see it?

The preview was some chap (presumably the reporter) prancing about the woods in green tights with a kiddy's archery set, but there was a shot of a compound archer towards the end.

I'll report back if I managed to get it.

Thats all we need - I'm already preparing for all the smartarse stereotypical comments that are sure to accompany the first episode.

It was presented a bit on the silly side but had some decent footage and interviews with a few juniors.
Any publicity is good publicity apparently.

It will probably be running every half an hour on news 24 during the sports report although it was only recorded for Breakfast TV.

On a serious note with many clubs full or close to full the influx of interested people looking for beginners courses is going to put a strain on club resorces even more so in the winter. Something GNAS always seems to overlook when chasing ever increasing membership numbers.

We still have plenty of room at our club (www.bognorarchers.org.uk) for anyone in the area.
