Jonathan Ross's World of Robin Hood

D** and Bl*** missed it, forgot it was on and didn't even record it. Did anyone see the programme and is worth trying to track down a recording? Regards

To be honest with you Cestria not worth the tape or dvd or hard disc space, just about the new program which imo wasnt all that it was cracked up to be, but then its only been on the once so will have to give a couple of more weeks I think!!!!!

Like you BJ we weren't too impressed with the first prog. in the series. We got the impression they had a couple of stunts worked out then made a storyline around them.

So....are we talking about Jonathon Woss's program, shown Sunday afternoon, about Robin Hood, as depicted on screen.........OR.......the new BBC series "Robin Hood", shown Saturday evening and staring a particularly hot Marion?
(One look at her with her bow firmly gripped and I almost shot through my clicker )

Whilst the Robin Hood prog has had had mixed reviews on the Official Robin Hood thread, the Jonathon Ross program probly isn't worthy of much effort finding a copy. Didn't have any moments of 'Wow, that’s fascinating' nature for me. Mostly a potted history of movie and TV adaptations and interviews.

The new Marion mmmmmmmm, more avid marion me thinks, not to my taste at all, far to contempory looking.

I think your right tho about the stunts/action sequences, far to scripted.

But I've not given it a fair crack of the whip, Heh I even thought Doctor Who was a bit of a slow starter!!!

The Jonathan Ross programme was pretty dull. It had some interesting details of how Robin Hood was depicted in the earliest references (as a robbing hood, basically), but otherwise it wasn't up to much.

Yes, it was the Jonathan Ross programme I missed, and thinking about it, with Ross doing it, it was going to be a little far fetched or over egged. I'm sure the Beeb will get round to a repeat one day anyway. As for the series I'm sure it will get its followers for what ever the reason, god bless red blooded boys and girls.
