One thing I noticed was that a problem I'd had before I put the recurve down 6 months earlier hasn't reappeared. I am now shooting a lot better with the recurve(only Portsmorths about 540-560) and a bit happier, havn't touched the other 2 since ,but the horse bow might be coming out this week.My Recurve style was borrowing the draw from a Horse bow and the release from hell, partly because I had forgotten about the clicker...now sorted! However I still think there is more to archery than getting high scores, they are a good way to quantify your abilities but there is more to it than that. You can tell when you have made a good shot before you know where the arrow has gone, that's my theory and I am sticking to it!

HeHe I have the same problem when going back to using the recurve after the longbow/turkish/mongolian bow. First arrow..... opps forgot there is a clicker on the bow.
