| Insurance for archery gear.. I'm in the process of sorting out my house insurance and so far have not found a suitable policy that covers my equipment out of the house!! Who does anyone else use and what kind of cover do they have?? Cheers

| I went to Endsleigh and insured my gear, along with my home contents insurance, through them. Initially, they weren't going to insure it because they considered it all as one cost - £2500-odd. But when I provided an individualised list of things, they got the idea and it costs me around £35 a year to insure everything I take with me out of the house, including cameras, scopes and electronics. |

| I'm in the position of not having home insurance to add it on to, but i would like to insure my gear. Unfortunately i've yet to find a company that'll do it.

| I checked up on the valuables anywhere bit of our Home Insurance policy as the biggest travel insurance cover I could find for valuables was £2000 and I'm taking more than that to India  So try The Nationwide - its got £7500 cover max one item £1500.  and they assured me it was ANYWHERE and excess was on whole calim not each item and included accidental damage.Hope I never have to use it though  |

| It sounds like I have exactly the same cover as Grant. I have building, contents and all my sports equipment insured with endsleigh. If your an academic or in a recognised union you are likely to get a good discount with them too. No I don't work for them, but as a lecturer they've always beaten any quote I've had.

| I got my insurance through Lloyds TSB - in person from the bank, over the phone they couldn't cover my archery gear!!
