| The FITA Cadet target award is indeed only for Cadets, as the full FITA Target award is available for the 70 metre. On the other hand, the "Cadet 60 metre round is described in the FITA rulebook as "for Cadets", so Cadet boys could presumably get the awards shooting it!

| Thanks very much indeed for that Furface - as you could tell my logic circuits blew on that one, but I surmise you like the equal opportunities for the boys ![]() |

| my brain burts (not that it takes much)Table 3-4 on 3-11 is about what rounds count for National (GNAS) Records U18 Gents can claim a National Record for shooting a M I or greater - at least C U18 Ladies can claim a National Record for shooting a M II or greater - at least D mm... 3-10 should still have a D next to FITA (Cadet Ladies) I can understand only Cadet Ladies can shoot it, but surely Gents from 16-U18 are the same as Ladies (for the purpose of this argument) and could be on the same line in Table 3-4 and the M II does have a D in Table on 3-9.Should I ? |

| What makes you think it is supposed to make any sense when you can achieve an MB score on a FITA with 88% of the total available score but it takes 91% to achieve the same MB frpm a York and the handicap tables have been scewed to match the clasifications

| Moose, you are a cynic. The tables haven't been skewed, as they came before the classifications! And, MK1, the point is that gents are not the same as ladies. The problem - one of perception - arises because the Metric rounds are only GNAS rounds, and applicable to GNAS age groups, while the Cadet FITA is a FITA round, applicable to FITA age groups. The Metric II is not a Cadet FITA. (They pinched the idea for the round from us!)
