mmmmmm I doubt they are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts.
It would seem to be one of those "this is what you could get from else where if you were willing to look, but we are going to give it to you on a plate with a markup" things.
But, business is business.

......and I don't suppose it is companies off loading their stocks knowing that both Hoyt and W + W are about to announce complete new product ranges? Or is that just a rumour?

If it means lower prices on proven kit (I haven't checked how good the deals are) then great! Let the big guns bring out a new range as often as they like!

Catches:
a) You have to deal with ASS. This has been a problem for many but not for everyone - see other threads on the board.
b) Since it's from a 2nd supplier through ASS, this could exacerbate any problems if the kit is faulty/not suitable - find out who you would deal with before you buy.
c) There may or may not be manufacturer warranties on the kit - find out with the returns policy is before you buy.

Other than that, I think it makes perfectly good sense for retailers to sell "end of line" equipment at a knock down price, especially where stocks and choice are limited. Nothing wrong with most of that kit, so why not? As always, caveat emptor.

It looks good to me. Even if there is no manufacturers warranty, its no worse than buying second hand equipment from other people or ebay.

And some of the prices are really good. If the prices were higher i'd say it would be better to spend a little extra to be sure of the saftey net of a warranty, but as they're quite low i'd be prepared to take the chance.

Seems like a good idea to me. One strange thing I just noticed. On the deals page you can buy the SF Riser for £149.04 and the SF SHC limbs for £178.85, total = £327.89. Or you can 'save money when you buy the Sebastien Flute SF Forged riser together with SHC carbon/foam limbs.' for £327.90? Am I missing something?

Think I have too much time on my hands!
