I loved the Junior nationals, shot with Danny Cliford in my last time there, remmember getting excided as i matched him for the 1st dozen droped a bit and then slamed in a 120 to finnish to take me back to top spot in my age group.
But was emmbarased as I got beaten by a girl, in my age group, ok shes in the GB senor team now and im still scratching around in the mud, but i was a just a boy, still am.

My first year there, Jistin Gibbs shot a world record.

You get to see some of those top juniors shoot, and realise your on there tail if you keep at it you might just beat them one day. I'm still chasing some of them myself

ok, had a look and my memory was obviosly fuzzy form 2002, chris Fowler not Gibbs shot the National record at 585, do remember being in aw at it being called a world record tho, but we are the only country to practice portmouths, U18 and Steve does corently hold it now at 590

sorry for the confusion was reminising to happy times

Strange. Simon Terry won the Nats with 594 many a moon agoand I won it back in 1999 with 588. Im surprised 590 is national record for Under 18?
