I'm not sure this has been put to the test yet. In any case, it is down to the discretion of the judges on the day as to whether anybody's dress fits the code - which is the main reason why it is such a contentious issue. The green shirt is green enough for any normal person; the inscription on the back might or might not cause problems. Now that I think of it, I'd quite like to try this myself and see if some idiot wants to start arguing!

Well i got my AIUK shirt to wear with pride so next shoot i go to now i have it i'll wear it.

Will take a plain white polo to switch to in case anybody has any objections, best to have a backup plan

There have been no objections to AIUK clothing so far....to my knowledge!! They have been worn by a fair few members too

Since AIUK is not a registered club, and since the club colours have not been registered with GNAS, you should not be allowed to wear these to any shoot where GNAS dress rules apply.

However.

In practice, I've never seen any judges check the approved clothing list, so you takes your chance. (Just have a white top in the bag "just in case")

And on the topic of dress codes, if you care about the dress code and have not yet done so, please send your opinions to GNAS (instructions in the last Archery UK Magazine).
