Dress Codes

Furface - 21/4/2005 3:17 PM Just had a psychological thought. Uniforms of whatever kind are a means of grouping people. Do people in uniform tend to act more as a group and less as individuals? In the case of tournament archery, does having to appear in correct dress predispose us to accepting other rules. Look at it the other way round. How often are the archers who insist that their "camos" are green the ones who argue with judges about everything. I feel a doctoral thesis coming on!

I'd have to disagree with the last part, I have always worn the correct colours when the competition requires it, however I will happily challenge judges each and every time they make a mistake, interpret the rules wrongly or (Sorry) when they are just plain in the wrong.</p>

While sifting over my old book, there were pictures of shooting in action slacks, green v-neck sweatters and a white shirt. It actually looked quite good. Whats happening to me!
