God i'm gonna be in trouble....
Saw a merlin identical to mine on e-bay for 160 quid.....and bought it as a spare...i must be friggin nuts....she's gonna murder me....

Why don't you do what most women do! Hide it in the wardrobe for at least two to three months and when they discover it or they see it say Oh I've had it ages and deduct 75% off when she asks the price. Regards John

My wife is my banker, so I have an additional credit card, not linked to my regular account, to be used for archery purposes.

I also have goods delivered to the PO Box of my Secretary, not to my home. Although I am the club gear scrounger for newbies, I also sneak in goodies for myself from time to time, and non-archer SWMBO might get suspicious if delivered to home.

I recall a very old thread on Sagi' BB asking "Best moments in archery", and the one answer I will never forget is "Getting home from work before SWMBO on the day the mail order of archery gear was delivered."

p.s. My Secretary also buys lots of exotic small plants through eBay, unknown to her partner, she thinks, and that is why she has a PO Box.
