How many peole really look at their fellow competitors arrows when they call them- i bet a lot don't. Its mostly done on trust, as it should be.

I usually look at the arrows being called and you would be surprised how often an arrow is called with a lower score than it should have be beginner/new archers.

I have made some progress now and the county secretary agrees Cumbria should come in line with GNAS (bang goes my Short National which I only discovered last week ) and we will be discussing the requirments for setting records at our next full committee meeting.

All your comments have been very welcome and I feel we should be able to set up a fair system, as I am aware a large number of Cumbrian archers do not go to competitions.
