In what order do you shoot a 3-spot face?

In what order does everyone find shooting a 3-spot face work best for them? My daughter was practising this afternoon, and found that shooting the middle one first followed by top, then bottom worked best for her....

You can shoot them in any order you like, except during tie-breaks when it's always the middle spot.

Yep, aware of that - I was more interested in what order works for everyone...

I used to shoot from top to bottom in order, but have now switched to middle, top, bottom.....Have still not shot a 3-spot FITA 18 I am happy with. Perhaps I need to try a few more combinations.

Alternatively I should just stop worrying about them, start enjoying them, and practise some more.

Top-Middle-Bottom. Usually. But order doesn't bother me these days.

I used to shoot middle-top-bottom only. But I got a bit hung up on the order. So I trained myself not to mind- as a compound I ALWAYS shoot on spots (otherwise I smash up my arrows) so I may as well get used to it. Also means that if I'm ever in a situation where I have to shoot in order or on one designated face I know I can do it. Also, I like the top face least so I try to practice it more- it used to be the bottom face I hated most but I'm better on that now.

The Japanese used to say that to improve something you did, you should find which thing you hate most/were worst at/feared most and work on that. I think there is something in that. It's hard going out the comfort zone, but when you manage it and ovecome the problem its very satisfying.

Bottom-Middle-Top.. stops the shadows forom obscuring the Gold. Especially in a hall with top-down lighing or lighting where multiple shadows are cast like the berks indoors
