When I lived in Maine last year, I could see the Atlantic from my driveway and shot into the garage. I was on a cul-de-sac with very few winter residents, but those who were there loved to watch me. Luckily we only had a few feet of snow last year, so it wasn't an issue. On really cold days, I'd keep the garage door down and shoot 6m. On cold, clear evenings I could see the moon and stars through the windows.

Very picturesque

Oh to have a large garden

If I tried shooting into my garage the neighbours would have me arrested

Sounds very nice. I don't think the neighbours would notice a bow going off, it would be drowned out by the gunfire.

Nice. .
My neighbours hate us, if im cutting the hedge they complain about the noise to the police, if they saw me shooting a bow id have the armed ones round for tea & .

Good thing is when i go bk to south wales i can shoot 20 indoors (long corridor in bungalow) and a good 150yds outdoors, were i worked down there i could get 20 yds outdoors as well but 50 indoors thru the gardners shed.

Sigh .....we live in a flat so haven't got the space although we might get 1metres in the hall...we have no garden.

You're so lucky

I suppose I could shoot diagonally across the garden, towards the house. Although there would be the danger of a patio door incident, similar to that mentioned on here recently!
