Question Target faces for practise

Hi all after a busy couple of hours in the garden practising this afternoon (im lucky I can fit 20 yards in easy) i was in the shed where the boss and targets are stored and was looking through my collection of faces and noticed the ones I use the most are an 18 mtr. FITA 3 spot and a worcester/paa black and white face I use just one of the 3 spots if im practising for an outdoor round,These are the same faces I always use down the club too. so i was wondering what faces everyone else choose for practise ?

Hiya, like yourself, I tend to use Portsmouth/FITA18 targets - usually some of the better ones thrown out from the club. More so if it is a 3 spot that has at least one half decent face.
But more often than not though, I'll shoot on a blank boss, just working on my form (and it does need workin on!).
Best wishes,
Steve

I have made up a load of printable targets of various sizes, including as much of a standard 40cm and 60cm as you can get on A4. Sometimes I put two target centres on a piece of A4 so I can shoot 6 arrows without destroying them. I also use 12 spots on A4 so I can shoot an arrow at each dot, particularly when I am below about 10 metres. Can just about get Portsmouth length in my garden. If I was brave and took a pane out of each side of my greenhouse I could get a FITA 25 in!! not.

You can buy rolls of self adhesive replacement golds for 60cm targets and 122 cm targets. What more do you need?

A small square sticky label.

At 3 meters, I can't miss

I use a 40cm face. I am also one of the lucky ones who can get up to 25m indoors at home.

I can get about 15m down the drive into the garage so I tend to print scaled targets using the utility downloaded from the Texas archery site. They seem to come out at about 20cm ish but the programme gives you lots of choice.

I can just about get a 40m range out my back door but i am shooting at my livingroom window. even though there is a 1" sheet of wood there it is good practice not to miss. I shoot whatever target i need to shoot to practice on.
