all the indoor round

our club (Walsall) do a charity event once a year. We shoot all of the indoor rounds (except doubles). We started way back in 93-94 and have so far raised just over £10,000. With sighter's we shoot in excess of 30 doz arrows. If your club as room to try this marathon it is well worth it, not only for raising cash but you'd be surprised how many Pbs are shot and even club records broke. We start off with the Stafford then 25m (bray2) then 18m (bray1 and combined) then finish off with Portsmouth Worcester and finish with the Vegas.... then collapse

tel has completed all 6 rounds of either the Archery Interchange VGP or Winter League
WL Ranking: Division 2, 1st Place
SL Ranking: Division 2, 1st Place

Currently trying to devize a 'round' or somesuch to raise funds for a local charity - where do you start?

We are looking now at outdoor - maybe an afternoon - before the season kicks in...

our first idea Tel was 24hr Portsmouth till we found it had already been done. Simone Tarpee i think with an average scores in the 580s,.Best to decide on something that the whole club would be interested in doing. Ask people in the club for charities that mean something to them. My brother in-law lost a child in labor so that year i asked to give half the money raised to the local hospitals infant ward. A club member and close friend dyed of cancer so we always give to the McMillan trust..
