Tracy, you have just proved to all the world that what God gave you in good looks he took away in the old grey matter ( kinda like swings and roundabouts, given the choice I'd take good looks over brains every time). Your total of the percentages should add up to 100.

Add up your four distance scores to get a total, now look at your 70m score, add two zeros to it and divide this figure by your total score. Do the same for all of the other distance scores.

think i'll keep an eye on these figures during this year, it'll be interesting to see how they change.

I did only claim to be practically perfect

and how many people have been sitting wondering how to do it???

I'm impressed Slowhand, it shows beautifully where work is needed (and is yet another way to confuse my grey matter, lol).

Now if only my little notepad hadn't gone walkie's a couple of months ago

This post is proving to be very interesting and I think that it could help in identifying where our strengths and weaknesses are. I've always considered myself as being something of a short range/indoor specialist and I thought that the difference in my 90m and 30m percentages would be greater than average, as it turns out I'm somewhere in the middle. As I predicted, the lowest variation, is a very good compound archer (Marcus) with just over 2% difference.
I also think that the results are being swayed a little by the fact that most people replying are fairly experienced archers shooting to a good (or very good) standard . It would be great to see some replies from people in their first year or two of shooting.

Mine confirm what I already knew, In spite of doing all my practise at the longer distances for twelve months 90m is still a long long way:-)

90m 21.3%
70m 24.2%
50m 26.2%
30m 28.3%

It's interesting that nearly all those who posted get 50% of their score from 70m and 50m added, and that those scores are very similar.
Put another way, you could shoot 3 doz at 50m or 70m and multiply by 4 to get a good estimate of your expected fita score.
