Our club holds a team only tourny (free of charge) for local clubs on the second bank holiday in May, an Albion round:

Unfortunately that does clash with a major competition that's not too far away but we still get teams from several clubs. The shoot is followed by a barbeque and is not supposed to be too serious.

Essex also have their league shoots still I believe?

Club comps

Some of the Shropshire clubs shoot a series of annual Heritage shoots in turn throughout the outdoor season. The rounds are either Long National, National or short National, and Junior National, to cover the wide range of abilities and ages.
Last year around 70 archer turned out for each shoot. they are very casual shoots and are ideal for archer to try their skill against other without getting involved in serious competion too soon.

Hello Moo Mop

Yes Essex still does the Albion league matches, one a month May to September. They are good fun normally with a tea afterwards. The Colchester club is aiming to win the 1st division this year (got to beat West Essex, the current champions)

Best wishes, Mark Huff
