The All British Fire Arrows Championships (report)

The first All British Fire Arrows Championships were held over the weekend, and there were some surprising results.

Unfortunately, the competition had to abandoned after sighters when the recurve archers straw targets burst into flames and the compound archers targets melted.

The work parties were unable to traverse the 100 yds quick enough to put out the raging fires. The tournament organisers are facing substantial losses as they have just found out that their insurance did not cover fire risks and the landowner is seeking compensation for a severe grass fire.

I was thinking of clout into a lake?. Or possible large circular trays of petrol, so you know when you get a hit?

way way back in the day i used to have an Amiga and you could get a disk called "the little black pirate hand book" on it was a way to blow up your garden shed.... Take pile out of the end of an arrow... fill with gun powder.. replace pile with a percussion cap and shoot at a shed..... don't know if it would work never got round to getting the gun powder lol
