Does anybody know what has happend to them, I had wanted to buy some more strings but I cant seem to find them anywhere.
Any recommendations on other quality string manufacturers if HNL have gone under. for recurve not compound.

I think this is his old site, the new one has been unavailable for nearly a month now. So it is not looking good and I would not place an order at this time until somebody can get an update as to whats happening.

Repeated e-mails from myself and others have gone unanswered which again is not a good sign. So for now you will have to look for other alterantives sources. This is a real shame as the strings were of first class quality.

I was about to buy some HNL strings but due to problems have gone elsewhere. I found some Angel Majesty strings on ebay, contacted the seller and bought 3 off him. I am very satisfied with the quality of manufacture and my scores are going up again.Rod Young in Rochdale is a fine craftsman of recurve strings. Good info and advice available from him. The strings took 9 days from ordering. He is not a full time manufacturer but you get what you ask for.And he is in this country and you can talk to him, and you do get quality strings at a fair price.

As mentioned in another thread somewhere, I was happily using HNL strings courtesy of morphymick all last season. Because of that I wanted to get a couple of new ones for this year....couldn't get hold of the site and was told that it was due to Leighton being overwhelmed by the requirements of the USA squad!
Bit my lip, built a jig, bought some Angel Majesty, gave it a go...one of the most satisfying experiences I've had for a long time (sad I know!) - go for it!

Nothing like a good set of strings now is there... you get a nice aesthetic as well as performance.

I get mine done by Greg Hill (http://www.st-kingsmark.fsworld.co.u...TopStrings.htm) as he's just down the road from me in Gwent it's handy for a compound (especially as he has the X-press that will take my bow...). He does nice recurve strings as well though.
