full face or triple?

Not having decided on what to shoot at for this months festive fita, does anyone see a particular advantage in one or the other (arrow damage aside!)?
The handicap tables seem to show an advantage shooting at the full face until you get to a 30 handicap - the advantage being greater the further down the scale you go.

With the full face you can still score a 1,2,3,4,5 if your arrow goes wayward - with a triple it'd be a miss.

Ok, I'm really showing my ignorance here - does the triple face only have 5 rings??

For anyone other than a totally competent archer, the slight variation in elevation on the triple introduces yet another opportunity for inconsistency, and hence error. This is another reason why the handicap tables are different.

with a small change in the distance 20 yards agaist 18 metres the sights shouldnt need too much tweeking, by moving your position on the line the difference in distance can be taken out.

How much do the Grant and Kevin make changes?

I use the same mark for 20y and 18m, but I'm guessing LMP is more concerned about a 25m mark.

The biggest disadvantage of single spot faces (arrow damage aside) is the possibility (or, with compound, the probability) of points lost through deflections.

The only round I ever shoot on a single spot face is our indoor County Championship, and even then I use an old set of ACC's rather than 2314's in order to cut down on both arrow damage and deflections.
