| I've just picked up a 90cm layered foam boss for the back garden. I have a high fence at the back and there is a school field behind us (which isn't in use when I'm home). I have put it on a couple of concrete blocks to have it at a better height for shooting and tied the top to the back fence so it won't fall over in the wind. I can only shoot from about 9-10m away anyway. The police have enough to deal with round by us to worry about me shooting the odd arrow. I have seen the tough shot butts and thought they looked a bit small. I prefer to have some space around the target. |

| ive just bought a danage target for my garden, cost a bit but it is well worth the money, i have alot of space thankfully so a big target would be a better long term investment if you have the money and space |

| tuff shot I bought one of the tuff shots last year, brilliant quality, stops anything, but still soft enough for my daughters 15 lb recurve not to get bounceouts. If you want a tuff shot, look on e-bay, merlin are selling them at £26.50 post free at the moment

| I looked at both then bought the 60cm foam boss from Merlin. It hangs nicely in my side garage door with some adaptations to stop it swinging, stops my recurve and compound arrows easily from as little as 4 metres, and if I miss the only thing I can hit is the inside wall of the garage resulting in destruction of an arrow rather than a neighbour.
