Smile Eurosport

Hi,
In the past, I've downloaded video clips from the internet that originally started out on Eurosport, but in foreign languages! These clips have included last years olympics and Nimes 2005. As I said, these are in foreign languages and we have just had cable tv installed which includes British Eurosport. As much as I enjoy watching less popular sports (I'm enjoying watching the biathalon at the moment, sad innit, does anyone know if this channel has ever included archery in its line up.
Best wishes,
Steve

The short answer is yes. I've watched World Championships And European Championships on Eurosport before now - excellent coverage, unfortunately, I think the last one was
Oulo in Finland No sign of recent coverage - perhaps they've decided it's not worth it, or maybe I just missed it.

If only they'd introduce the channel listing as an RSS feed, I could stay in touch with any archery events! The website really is shocking in it's complete lack of decent search facilities too! (rant off )

Hi Steve,
I'm developing a small collection of archery videos myself- where do you look?

Pete

Hi Murray,
I will keep my eye on Eurosport, especially with the European Indoors and Nimes just into the new year. I agree with you in that the Eurosport website is nothing short of useless for anyone with our interests . As I have said before, I enjoy watching the lesser sports such as handball, biathalon etc. plus those other sports that are popular here, but do not get the coverage such as hockey. Shame archery doesn't get more coverage though, especially when head 2 heads are becomming more popular. Even the standard GNAS and FITA rounds could be edited to become more exciting. Maybe archery could with someone who could promote in the way snooker, darts or bowls have been.

Hi Pete,
The clips I got were downloaded from another website, usually foreign, who have taken them in turn from their respective countries Eurosport . I found them on the Saggitarius archery forum, earlier this year from someone who made a similar enquiry. The unfortunate thing about these clips is that they are short and of very poor quality. I'll have a look though and see where I downloaded them from.
In any case I'll keep an eye on the tv listings and if I see something, I'll post it on the forum.
Best wishes,
Steve
