RE: Compound Archer

... while grumbling that they are not getting anything positive out of the shoot.
And then almost damaging themselves pulling their arrows out, complaining that the boss is too hard.
And then chucking the towel in when they get a blue at a shorter distance, which they blame on their wodget being too loose.
(But they are really good chaps, honest!)

What??? About 20% of my shooting is with a compound (when my release is in one piece) and that 20% is pure evil! Bwaaa-haa-haaa!

RE: Compound Archer

Compound Archer : Someone with a phenomenal degree of mental control.

Compound Archer : Someone that can't hack a useful recurve poundage any more.

RE: Compound Archer

A compound archer is someone who has opened their eyes and seen that its now the 21st century, and so is moving forward with the times and technology rather than living in the past

A compound archer is someone who is willing to accept that the mental attributes are just as important to strength and coordination rather than thinking brute force and ignorance will get you through

RE: Compound Archer

Be careful when you say that a compound archer is some one who is too lazy to shoot recurve or long bow. There are other reasons. Disability maybe one of them. (not good to infer that some one who may be disabled is lazy) The second reason applies to me and that is money,I new that I could buy a compound that would give me a good 90meter mark with sight out on the front of the bow for a lot less money than I would have to spend on a recurve that would do the same thing.
