Just on the mention of the above post, I was once involved in a discussion with other people about the worst sporting injury you can get. Most agreed that apart from broken bones, tennis elbow was the worst. When I told them that there was something worse than that - "Archers Nipple", blank stares and straight over their heads.

If a woman with a reaonable size chest is doing Kendo and the do (breastplate) doesn't quite cover it and she gets hit (usually a do cut by someone who misses the target area of the right side where it is covered by the armour)- I am told this is very very painful... (Kendo is Japanese sword-fencing- long bamboo sword, plus armour on the areas that get hit- target- i.e scoring- areas are the head, wrists, right side of chest and throat so people wear helmet, gloves, breastplate and waist armour). So some ladies do wear padded chest protection under the training uniform...

Other typical injuries include damage to the right foot and the usual sports-type tendon-ligament damage in the ankles etc plus blisters on feet from sliding across floors barefoot, but the thought of the chest bruising does make my eyes water somewhat...
