Spring Tension

Nothing to do with the pressure button settings but more to do with the anxiety archers have, when having spent a small fortune on new equipment through the winter months, await the arrival of the Spring so that they can get out onto the archery fields and see whether they can justify the vast amounts spent. This action, common to all, is known as: The Spring Tension.

Most commonly just before the very first arrow shot at the very first outdoor shoot. People walk calmly to the line, fit an arrow to the string, draw back and then... "Will I miss? Will anyone notice? What if I drop the bow?" etc
