Think I remember that. I was laughing my head off and proceeded to sell you a Chappy Boss, if memory serves.

Yes, you were there. It was either the chappy boss (now sold) or the Toxonics 1500 that is still giving service.

That compound got nicked...Meh. It served me well. ATA that would be more suited to a recurve if I remember correctly.

I remember losing some jazz arrows due to the boss falling over - this was closely followed with me getting my ACC's and I remember I was terrified to shoot them in case I damaged them!!

I'm not sure about a Fonz Award LE, but maybe we can all arrange a minute's silence in memory of your arrows... & make sure all the bosses are welll secured when we get outside!

Hard luck mate.

Well, what can I say. It's times like this when you just want to take yourself off to a quiet corner for a solitary cry.
But, we as archers, and members of this fine forum need to stand strong. Stiff upper lip, Dunkirk spirit and all that. The Fonz is our last defence mechnism in these situations, so accept your award with pride, let a smile creep across your dial and sell the remain of your ACCs to an unsuspecting crossbow user. Or a dwarf. Or make them into novelty archery pens. Then use the proceeds to buy some guy ropes.
You're going to look back and laugh, so you might as well start now. You've made the first step in the right direction by posting your story.
Let's hope you have more luck in 2006. Welcome to the Fonz club.

Went to the club one evening and decided to tie a new knocking point onto the string as the last one had become loose.
Had a brainwave and decided to apply a little superglue. Whilst applying the glue another member came to see what I was doing and as I spoke to him I tool my eye off what I was doing.
I superglued the string to my trousers and my trousers to my leg!!!!!
