At the county indoor champs a few years back I started the comp with my limbs on upside down and was getting very frustrated when someone said do you usually shoot with your limbs on upside down. Then on the very last end I must have had another *brain fart* and only shot two instead of three arrows without realising it (to late). What made it worse was I lost by two points, I tried to laugh it off whilst collecting my silver medal but inside I was boiling.
One I most definatly learnt from.

Brains get gas

Marcus has been laughing at me for a year cos I shot an arrow on the wrong target at two major events (including the National Indoor), shot an unsuspecting tree in a field tournament and dropped my only points in a 3D comp by using the wrong sight tape for the last 2 targets... all in 12 months.

He lost a matchplay round to me at a matchplay round robin by shooting the wrong target last week.

My son once left all his kit at home when we went to a weekend field shoot - and blamed me for not packing it.

It's always Marcus' fault if I forget something cos I never take anything out of my case. If it's not there it's cos he took it out.

Oh I know that feeling. My husband is always doing that, he fixes other peoples equipment with my tools. He also lends my stuff to other people and asks me if they have given it back yet.

I confess that matching socks some days is a bonus.
