I'm surprised no-one has suggested a drive-by shooting...

As opposed to a stand-by shooting?

The order of things was never in doubt, though it's funny that there seems to be a male/female devide on this! Anyway ,came clean and apparently,"I am more trouble than the kids, at least they are starting to grow up".Ho hum, still it's the weekend now....PLAY-TIME!!!!

Yes, it's a longshot, but it is possible.
Perhaps you could say there was a very large, venomous spider on it and the only thing you could find to kill it with was the arrow you had in your bow. You got the spider, but the blouse was a consequence!
England is not noted for it's venomous spiders, but we do have a hedgehog that wanders round, I surpose it could have flown into the blouse,.... might use that next time. these ideas are being noted down for future referance, if needed.

Good work Greenman! And in recognition of your stupidity, and as a big "thank you" for your apparant enthusiasm for sharing your embarrasing ####-ups with us, I'm going to award another Fonz.
There is an element of reluctance on my part, because rather than feed your significant other with one of our member's beautifully crafted ####-and-bull stories, you came clean! What were you thinking about? Never let the truth get in the way of a good story, and the more elaborate the better.
Personally, I'd have kept completely schtum, and then convinced a friend at the local newspaper to run a story about a local eccentric who'd bred a strain of racing bees, capable of reaching speeds in excess of mach 2.
Then you could have done the old "Hmmm, maybe that's what happened to your blouse my dear; you must have hung it in the way of one of their training routes..."
Bingo!

I can't see me getting two fonz awards! But hey if the fear factor has anything to go by. I was sure the double glazing was going to be cracked. The relief when I opened the curtains was beyond description. Good job I was not shooting compound back then!
