Here we go then. Ive just switched over to the dark side and have borowed a wrist release with finger trigger.

After about 4 dozen arrows on my 2nd nights shooting my new bow I managed to be around 2/3 of the way up to full draw and the next thing i knew i had punched my self in the eye and was seeing stars!!!

Stupidly i had drawn the bow with my finger on the release trigger and had somehow applied enough pressure for the release to be activated causing me to give myself a black eye!!!

I had to sit 3 ends out before the stars faded away and i cold focus on one gold instead of 3!!!

Doh!!!!!

Thats got to be worth a Fonz. I've mnaged to accidentally shoot an arrow whilst drawing up, although I'd only come back about 1-2" so it went about 2 feet and I could shoot another.

Sorry,Neo, too common a mistake for a Fonz. Now if you'd have released the arrow and it had gone through a plate glass window or struck a passing swallow....

I think at sometime or other most compounders have had this experience.

Punched myself in the face twice whilst drawing the carter fits me until I learned to draw with my thumb off the trigger. Trouble is the carter is in effect a knuckle duster(allbeit a very expensive one)

This is one thing that you will get used to. I have done it on every release aid I have tried, with some not cocking properly/me being an idiot. It helps you punish yourself for doing things wrong though!!
