nominating the wifey

we were going to an NFAS shoot a long time ago, and she wasn't sure on her aiming point for a 40 degree downhill shot that that club always had in the round, wasn't a long shot only about 12 yards

so wifey DA put a boss at the bottom of the stairs and started shooting away quite happily, getting her aiming point spot on

there was an occasional "TING" sound wich she couldn't quite get to find

until she pulled her arrows and 5 holes in the now knackered radiator

does she get a Fonzy for this ?

Ooh yes, gets my vote! Reminds me of when our club's chairman went rifle shooting once. They went up to the target to check their score and noticed a pool of blood underneath. A sheep had been sheltering behind the target...

Must be worth a Fonz. Unknowingly shooting a radiator takes some doing.

Not sure if this should qualify!!

After all only 5 holes in the radiator when you shoot 3 or 6 arrow ends, it isn't a small target and also 5 in the white is pretty low scorring.

OOHHH!!! go on then it made me laugh

P.S.

Do you need bottle of Radweld???

thanks but a little late for radweld, cost her a new radiator, and carpet cleaner, and we moved from there

and it cost some new arrows, and by the way how did I get the blame for damaging "her" arrows removing them from "her" radiator target

And if anyone tells you that modern carbon arrows have no penetrating power, they are fibbing they punch nice round holes in steel at that distance

True but it does increase the frequency.

I got blamed yesterday for a flight being delayed, I wasn't flying the plane, in anyway shape involved in the preparation of the flight nor was I even booked on the flight or in the airport... while innocently sitting at my desk in the office I got the text "Plane delayed, your fault" to my rather surprised response asking how it was my fault I got "Just is.".

<sigh>

Of course if you pulled the arrows out of the radiator then you put yourself directly in line for all the blame, also you should have realised there was going to be a problem beforehand and stopped her.
