Lost arrow puller, or was it?

Does this qualify for numpty of the day:

We went field shooting yesterday. I was convinced that I had my arrow puller on my field quiver. Towards the end of the round I decided that it had obviously come off and had been lost. So I and 4 other club members set about checking the targets we had shot. It did not turn up.

Back at the car and rootling through my bag I found said puller on my target quiver! Doh!! I just didn't have the heart to say anything to the intrepid archers that had ventured around the course trying to find something which wasn't lost. That and I felt tooooo stupid.

You Just reminded me of something Really Funny that happened a few years back, Not Archery But similar situation.

Myself and My Better Half on our Honeymoon by the pool, My Wife realised she did not have our room Key, the Keys were on a Bright orange curly wrist band's that looked like the piece of curly cable from a telephone, well im sure you get the idea, she had just been swimming so assumed it had come off in the pool, I got a snorkel & mask and start looking, before long there was 15 or 20 people looking in and around the pool, the girl next to my wife who was still on the sun loungeer asked what everyone was looking for, the room key my wife replied, What Like the one in your Hair was the response , basically after getting out of the pool she had put a scrunchy on her wrist to do the off the wrist into a pony tail scrunchy thing that girls do, not realising she also slid the wrist band with the key and the scrunchhy into her hair, well she was little embarrassed, we called of the search and went for mid morning cocktails.
