Just being rubbish...

..probably doesn't count. But maybe I could get a 'Howard Cunningham' or something. (But please not a Ralph Malph).

We had a field type fun shoot at our club last week, and the leader thought it would be fun if we all shot the second round barebow. Well, I mean, I have enought trouble WTH a sight. I can't cope at all with anything else complicating things. Shooting line whispers of 'Aim lower' etc were of no help... lower than WHAT!!? And I'm so shortsighted I couldn't see where my arrows were ending up. It was quite a safari to find them, mainly embedded in boss stands, hanging in the netting etc. You will be impressed to know that at the end of the round I had scored 0. Even better, this week, there was a nice clear print out of everyone's scores for all to see, in numerical order. You can probably guess who was bottom. And this list replaced the handicap shoot scores, at the bottom of which my name had been languishing for about 4 months.

Hey, at least I keep smiling! And I can only improve....

Rachel

The only way is up - I am usually pleased if I am not bottom of the list

Thanks for the encouragement! Hope the tumbleweed blowing through this thread didn't bring on hayfever. Think next time I'll keep my rubbishness quiet.

After my score on the Hunter course yesterday afternoon I'm saying nowt!

My excuse was that, come the end, I noticed the string was fraying......

The fact that I'm now one arrow short of a dozen (is that the same as being one sandwich short of a picknick?) - the third one I shot!!!
