Unhappy My First Fonz

What a beautiful day it was this afternoon. The sun was shining, the birds were singing, the summer breeze was warm. What a *wonderful* afternoon for trying out my bow with the limbs wound in a bit.

I pitched up at the field to find 2 targets already out, at 60 and 50yrds. Even better! Strung bow, gathered up bits, went to the line, started shooting. First few ends weren't too promising. Changed finger tab, no noticeable improvement. - if anything they were worse. There was also slightly more vibration than normal. Still not totally convinced, I went back to using my old finger tab. One more end, and they were still exhibiting the shooting of a novice with a jelly bow. Put bow back in stand, collected arrows, which were in a spread more or less vertically. Sure that I was referencing properly and removing myself from the equation. Picking the bow up by the sight I noticed something amiss. Upon further inspection the top screw had largely undone itself, allowing me to easilly move at least an inch at the sight end. Cursing myself for not checking my kit propery, I blagged a set of screw drivers and sorted the offending nuts out.

But...that's not all. There was still a mysterious rattle originating from my bow. Top to toe check ensued. Anyone familiar with the axis will know that the limb alignment screw should be loosened before winding the limbs in. Yep - top one had been left undone. And somehow the bottom thumb screw had undone itself. Much annoying. Fonz please?

Not sure your story deserves a fonz, but this does:

Now that would have been worth watching, seeing you try to tighten nuts and bolts with a screwdriver
