ooops!

Our club put on an archery darts competition today , just for the club members.
We are a new club with a large percentage of beginners. One of our longer serving members went to shoot his three arrows and after the first arrow, I noticed something strange about his bow! Being a friendly club shoot, I felt it was quite acceptable to point out to him what I had noticed. I managed to attract his attention(and most of the other archers-intentionally)
" You are shooting with your BOWSTAND still attached to the bow!"
You don't see that very often.

Note to self: Must not drink coffee while reading the Fonz thread

I hav this wonderful image of archer shooting with large bowstand attached....

what kind of stand was it ..... how did he not notice.

Since it was a friendly I am surprised you did not mention it while he was at full draw

He noticed because I shouted at him, in case it shot all over the place. I hadn't noticed he had already shot one arrow with it on!!!!
It does conjure up a lovely picture as you say.
I suppose I left something for the imagination to play with; the stand is one of the simple ones that fits onto the bottom limb and acts like a foot.
I suggested he patents the idea. Limb stabilisers!!
