| In a League of his own Recent discussions about setting up a forum league, has brought to light a little secret being kept by one of our forum members, and I thought this deception needs bringing out into the open  It appears that the archer in question, entered scores in the winter league on the saggi forum’s indoor league last year. For those of you not familiar with the league, the league is based around the FITA 18m round, and contested by many excellent archers from around the globe. Our friend was justifiably proud that in this his first indoor season, he was doing pretty well in the league, at one point even being the second placed GB archer. It was only when a fellow club member asked him when he was shooting the 18m rounds, as we only ever shot Portsmouths on our club nights, that the penny dropped. Our friend thought Portsmouths ( 60cm face at 20yards ) and FITA 18m ( 40cm face at 18m ) were the same and had been submitting Portsmouth scores. And who is this illustrious archer; our very own Gold Flinger. I think you need to award yourself a Fonz for this one Adam.       | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| RE: In a League of his own Oh well, I suppose we couldn't have Kevin cleaning up in the old Fonz department . In my defence, I was only using the site to record my scores but I have to admit, I did think I was doing rather well!  And I still maintain that 550s in a Portsmouth were quite good after 3 months shooting.  (Tuts, hangs his head and retreats to the corner for a sulk )
