Wink it is safe, isn't it?
I would like to nominate 2 daft teenagers, a cyclist, 3 dogwalkers and a footballer for complete numptyness.
They thought it would be safe to walk between us and the target yesterday when we were getting sight marks for a clout.
This was bearing in mind we have several juniors, one of whom has a 20lb bow, and a whole bunch of novices, whose first arrows didn't even make it half way up the field and a novice compounder who can easily overshoot by miles.

It doesn't matter how many signs you put out, people always know best, don't they?

LOL I'm a little surprised people would actually try to pull something like that. Isn't the presence of bows and arrows enough to deter most people from even going near the area? Let alone the targets. Just typical.

I suggest simply making a 'guy' (as in guy fawkes)
stick a couple of arrows in it
strategically place it somewhere on the field

Surely that will deter idiots from entering the field in future...

Just like a scarecrow but for morons.

sorry im a complete archery newbie - havent even joined a club yet - so do you shoot in public areas? I assumed any archery shooting grounds would be private/hired out ?

sorry for the double post, but Im just thinking about this - are the gnas fees insurance in case you shot any of the people straying onto the archery range (held in a public area) and they sued you for it? (if they survived!)
