Which Target ?

Shot at my 1st Non Club competition today, The Sylvia Ogden Open at Thanet Archers in Birchington wasa good day
but me muppet supreme after ribbing a fellow DCA who shot an arrow at the wrong target during sighters shot a scoring arrow quite nicely into the next target over during the 10th end (2nd end of 2nd distance)
surely i should have sussed out which target i was shooting at by this time but apperently not, suppose it follows on from the very start where i strung up the daughters bow with the string upside down

When I first started shooting there was one competition where during the same end put an arrow on both bosses either side of mine. Spent the rest of the day saying the yellow flag, the yellow flag before each shot.

Yeah, it happens. Three arrows on the target next door during a head to head... all in the bloody yellow, to boot!

You always do that sort of thing when you have first drawn attention to your self!

I managed it at the Yorkshire weekend few years ago, closest ever to a tournament 6 gold end ....

6 golds (5 on one target and one on the next) B*****ks !!

Doesn't always help. At the aquarius double american a team mate made sure he checked the flag before each shot, and then when collecting, we discovered he'd put his arrow in a target 4 bosses along!!! Why? Because it had the same colour flag!!!
